Our concert on Saturday August 16th will be played by Charles Francis a prize winning organist who has recently graduated as Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York. This will be his first visit to the Victoria Hall. He was tutored by Nathan Laube who also performed for us. For those who would like to see him play before the concert just look on YouTube. His programme is very varied and includes many fine tunes covering both music for organ and transcriptions of orchestral works.

Vintage Jacob Cartwright Fire Resisting Safe. This is a very heavy safe made by JACOB CARTWRIGHT of WEST BROMWICH Estab 1844. The Safe is a good size (see below) very heavy and strong with two bottom draws inside (1 with key) With large storage space above the draws. I do not have any keys for door lock, but I have been advised by a lock smith that it is possible to purchase them. In good overall condition, with signs of wear consistent with age and use. This is a set of 6 lockable wooden storage boxes which would be perfect for something like a market stall or pop-up shop. They each have a latch on the front to lock them using a padlock (not included). They all measure approximately 71 x 46 x 13cm and could easily be stacked when not in use. They each include 2 separate sections but this could be modified fairly easily. I'm guessing they were handmade but I'm not too sure. If you are interested, I also have 2 very similar brown boxes listed which are ever so slightly larger. The boxes have been well used so they do show their wear. However, if this an issue they could be tidied up fairly easily with a sand down and paint job. It's collection only due to the size.

This is a large multi-coloured throw. The throw measures approximately 100in x 86in (254cm x 218cm) but due to the large size, most of the photos only show a quarter of it. As far as I'm aware it's made of 100% cotton. The throw hasn't been used much but it has been in storage a while. It has been well looked after so doesn't have any holes or stains. It also comes from a smoke and pet free home. Collection only.

This is a 3 tier glass floating shelf that fits onto a single wooden wall mount. The mount can be screwed to the wall to make a nice feature. The overall dimensions are: Height 120cm, Width 26cm. Depth 21cm. The shelves measure 26cm x 8cm and the mount measures 9.5cm x 7cm. The shelves haven't been used much so they're still in great condition. They also come from a smoke and pet free home.
